Paul Grilley

Sarah Powers

Yoga: Yin & Vinyasa Yoga

Both the Yin and Vinyasa practices are slow, mindful and pleasantly challenging.

2 detailed and informative Yin Yoga practices, where she discusses and explains meridian theory and insight practices as you perform the Yin poses. (Buy with her book Insight Yoga for a more comprehensive discussion of the 'Insight' blend of Buddhist principle, Chinese medicine and trans- psychology).

The Yang sequences are fluid and have a well-balanced effect on the body. The Yang sequences are two of my personal practice favourites.

I find Sarah's Yin and Yang practice more challenging than Simon Low's (which I consider most suitable for Yoga beginners) or Paul Grilley's (more intermediate). offering detailed insights into the practice. All the DVDs are suitable for beginners (you just do what you can) however if you have been practicing Yoga for some years and are adept, I would include this (Sarah's) DVD. Learn more
